Best known from his highly-rated PBS television series, Mexico—One Plate at a Time, Bayless has won James Beard Awards for “Midwest Chef of the Year,” “Restaurant of the Year,” “National Chef of the Year” and “Humanitarian of the Year.” The chef and founder of Chicago’s casual Frontera Grill and four-star Topolobampo restaurants, Bayless also has an award-winning Frontera line of salsas, grilling sauces and organic chips that can be found from coast to coast. The author of six successful cookbooks, Bayless’ latest book, Mexican Everyday, was nominated for a James Beard Award.
