What inspired you to get involved with Green City Market?
My love of food also led to a struggle with weight, which I have overcome by maintaining an 80lb weight loss. The Green City Market (which is practically in her backyard!) has provided me with an array of fresh, delicious and locally sourced foods that allow her to continue to live a healthy lifestyle.
What’s the most delicious thing you’ve ever purchased from the GCM?
Piedmontese filet mignon steaks from Heartland Meats. Not only is it a leaner and healthier cut of meat, it still has all the flavor!
What’s your favorite Jr. Board event?
Meet The Market events. There is no better way to end a hectic work day than meeting up with friends and fellow JB'ers by having some delicious food and cocktails at some amazing restaurants throughout the city who support the GCM and the Junior Board!
