Corporate and Foundation Relations Officer, Loyola University Chicago
Becky Kiely works in advancement at Loyola University Chicago as a Corporate and Foundation Relations Officer. She came to Chicago from New Jersey with a year-long detour as a volunteer at the Working Boys Center in Quito, Ecuador. Becky studied American Studies at Georgetown University in Washington DC, where she created a senior thesis documentary about sustainable food solutions in underserved DC neighborhoods. When she got to Chicago, she sought out the people and organizations that worked on solving the issues of urban access to sustainable, healthy food that she had become passionate about in DC, and found the Green City Market! Becky started out as a volunteer for the Market and is happy to have joined the Junior Board and the Finance and Fundraising Committee in 2015. She now serves as Events Committee co-chair.
