Green City Market's third dinner in the 2024 Sustainable Supper Series will be at Logan Square's Longman and Eagle on Tuesday, October 29 from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
October's dinner will focus on the theme, "Edible Education -- Nourishing Future Generations," highlighting the importance of educating the next generation about their local food system and supporting local, sustainable farmers and growers.
GCM's Sustainable Supper Series aims to bridge the gap between consumer and producer by creating a space for Chicagoans to connect directly with local farmers and restaurants and share that knowledge with the larger community.
Dinner will begin promptly at 6:20 p.m. Tickets include a three-course dinner, a specialty non-alcoholic cocktail presented by Ritual Zero Proof, a cash bar, a live panel discussion, and gratuity for service staff. All proceeds from October's dinner go towards Green City Market’s 501(c)(3) nonprofit mission to secure the future of food by deepening support for sustainable farmers, educating our community, and expanding access to locally grown food.
Longman and Eagle will have vegetarian options available and have the ability to accommodate any allergens/dietary restrictions. Please fill out the post reservation survey to note any dietary restrictions in your party by Friday, October 18. Please note that while Longman and Eagle can accommodate dietary restrictions, their facility is not allergen-free.
Communal seating should be expected. Parties of 2 or less may need to combine with other guests. Want to request your party be sat together? Please email operations@greencitymarket.org by Thursday, October 24 at 5 pm. We will do our best to accommodate your request.
