GREEN CITY MARKET FULTON IS NOW OPEN! 

Green City Market Fulton is now open!  Located at the southwest corner of W. Fulton and N. Halsted Streets, Green City Market Fulton will have approximately 20 vendors each Saturday through the end of October. Parking is available for $8 in the pay lot directly across Halsted.  Public transportation options include the Halsted Bus and the Morgan Green Line stop. This market will operate in conjunction with the Lincoln Park Market!  

GCM Fulton Hours are 7:00am-1:00pm
SATURDAYS only through October 25th

Wednesday, August 20

7:00am:  Lincoln Park Market OPENS!!!!  Stop by the market information tent for a cup of coffee and pick up a copy of the Green City Market Cookbook!

We have a special guest table on Wednesday!

Stop by the Chicago Market table to learn more about this local, sustainable food co-op being planned for the north side. Chicago Market is in the midst of a campaign to recruit 1,000 co-op owners this summer.  To learn more or become an Owner, visit the co-op's table located in the center of the market, near the compost station. 


8:00am:  Club Sprouts tent OPENS! Join the Club Sprouts Taste and Forager Clubs and earn special prizes!  

9:00am: Savor the Seasons TOMATO Festival! Stop by the market information booth and try a few of the MANY varieties of tomatoes available at the market. 






10:00am:  Edible Garden OPENS! Walk across the street to the zoo and visit Green City Market's Edible Garden!  More detail below.

Keeping a Tidy Garden: Staking, Pruning, Harvesting, and Composting
August is often the month when gardens are at their peak.  Avoid the “jungle garden” by learning how to properly stake and prune.  Learn to distinguish when produce is ready for harvest and learn the principles of home composting.  Please bring pruners if you have them.
