Our second dinner in our 2019 Come to the Table Dinner Series takes place at Arbor. Included in Chicago Magazine’s “The Best 50 Restaurants” Arbor is a unique experience boasting of “varied backgrounds in fine dining, specialty coffee, world travel, and IT have led us to build something wholly unique.” This may be one of our most memorable dinner series spaces to date!

Join Chicago area restaurateurs and chefs for a discussion about the opportunities and challenges of local sourcing for the Chicago restaurant industry. Where do they source? What do they do off season? This panel will feature perspectives from a variety of different restaurants from fine-dining to fast-casual.

Each $65 ticket includes a 3-course seated dinner, and cocktails, wine, and beer provided by Chicago purveyors. Receive a discount when you buy a 3-Dinner Series Pass! The pass includes: The pass includes: ADAPT (2/4 at Uncommon Ground), SOURCE (3/5 at Arbor) and ADVOCATE (4/8 at Goose Island Barrel House). 

Seasonal menus incorporate ingredients from local farms, and will be posted one week prior to the event. Email us with questions or dietary concerns. Space is limited.

About the Dinner Series: The Come to the Table Dinner Series joins local chefs, farmers, innovators, and food advocates for three seasonal dinners at farm-to-table restaurants in Chicago. Each event includes a custom created farm-to-table menu, beverages, and lively discussion about the intersections of food, agriculture, and community. The series began in 2016 as a vehicle for discussing different food system topics over a shared meal at restaurants that also support sustainable local food & farms. Past restaurants include The KitchenLula CafePaul Virant/Boka GroupFarmhouseFlorioleHoney Butter Fried Chicken/Bang Bang Pie & BiscuitsNoMi Kitchen, and Cruz Blanca Brewery & Taqueria. Now in its fourth season, the series is presented by Angelic Organics Learning Center and Green City Market. All proceeds benefit the missions and work of the hosting non-profit organizations. Partner restaurants and purveyors are committed to sourcing locally and sustainably whenever possible.
