Welcome to Verzênay Chicago, where French patisserie meets Midwest charm. Located in Lincoln Park, our bakery blends French classics, innovative and seasonally crafted products with locally sourced ingredients.
Led by Paris-trained Chef Arshiya, and her team of 20+ staff, a team of highly talented bakers, pastry chefs, cake specialist and lamination specialists, Verzênay make breakfast, lunch, High Tea, and an array of artisanal cakes, breads, and chocolates. We prioritize fresh, high-quality ingredients, supporting local farmers to bring an authentic taste of France to Chicago. All of our food is Halal, ensuring everyone can enjoy our delights. Chef Arshiya trained at the Ferrandi School of Culinary Arts in Paris in 2011 and worked at Le Meurice Hotel and Arnaud Delmontel bakery.
Verzênay started as a booth at the Green City Farmer's Market in 2014 and opened its retail storefront in 2021. Verzenay Patisserie selling at Chicago's Green City Farmers Market.
