Jun or jun tea is a drink brewed with green tea, sweetened with honey and fermented in the same process as kombucha with a scoby (symbiotic compound of bacteria and yeast). It is often referred to as the champagne of kombuchas because of its crisp tiny white bubbles.
Jun bug kombucha is brewed in Lakeview at the Fermentation Station on Southport. We are inspired to provide a complex non alcoholic beverage utilizing local tea, honey and botanicals.
