Cafe Yaya is an all-day dining and community space located in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood, created by James Beard Award-winning chef Zachary Engel and Partner Andrés Clavero. Inspired by the vibrant café cultures of Tel Aviv and Paris, Cafe Yaya is designed to be a welcoming home away from home, where neighbors can gather, share meals, and enjoy life’s moments together. The menu reflects Chef Engel’s diverse roots and travels, blending Middle Eastern, French, Jewish, Southern, and Midwestern flavors in both its pastry-forward breakfast offerings and relaxed dinner menu.
