Union is a community-centric love letter to the pride and joy of Midwest: craft beer. Adding to the diverse fabric making up Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood, this uniquely Chicago concept pays homage to one of the world’s best cities for beer with a 24-handle rotating tap list featuring the latest from coveted breweries, as well as New American cuisine by way of seasonally focused, shareable plates for any occasion. Reviving a 110-year-old space after a two-year restoration, Union was created to serve as an industry hangout for friends, locals and families in the neighborhood alike. Sister concept to day-time café and nationally acclaimed salumeria, Lardon, Chef-partner Chris Thompson, formerly of A16, Spruce and Excelsior, oversees a culinary-driven menu of inventive dishes with a distinctively Midwest flavor housed within an intimate 65-seat, 1,200 square-foot space. Located at 2202 N. California Ave., Union is open daily for dinner and drinks, Sun. – Thurs. 5 p.m. – midnight; Fri. and Sat. 5 p.m.—1 a.m. For more information, please visit www.unionlogansquare.com or follow Union @unionlogansquare.
