General AdmissionJoin us for the 25th Annual Chef BBQ, Green City Market's signature fundraiser and one of Chicago's most anticipated culinary events. Held at the height of the growing season, Chef BBQ is a celebration of the farmers, chefs, food producers, and community members who make our region's food culture so vibrant. For one evening each year, more than 100 of Chicago's top restaurants, bakeries, breweries, distilleries, and beverage makers come together to showcase the ingredients, relationships, and creativity that define our local food system. Each dish features ingredients sourced from Green City Market's sustainability-certified farmers and food producers, offering guests a rare opportunity to experience the connections between the people who grow our food and the chefs who bring it to the table. Chef BBQ captures the spirit of Chicago's local food community in a way few events can. From 5:00 to 8:30 PM, guests can enjoy unlimited tastings, exceptional beverages, music, and an unforgettable evening in Lincoln Park. With vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options available throughout the event, there is something for everyone to enjoy. As Green City Market's largest annual fundraiser, every ticket purchased helps support local farmers, food access programs, edible education initiatives, and year-round efforts to strengthen a more sustainable regional food system. General Admission tickets include unlimited access to all food and beverage offerings throughout the event. No additional tickets or purchases are required once inside. General Admission is an open-air experience. Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or low-profile lawn chair and settle in for a picnic-style evening in the heart of Lincoln Park. |

VIP ticketsVIP guests enjoy access to a bespoke VIP section and gain entry to the event one hour early (5:30 p.m.) for coveted face time with Chicago's top chefs and an opportunity to begin your tasting experience before General Admission guests arrive. The VIP section includes premium seating, trays for carrying unlimited small plates and beverages back to your table, and exclusive VIP beverage activations. Reserved VIP tables for groups of four and eight are available. VIP seating is first come, first served; private tables are not guaranteed unless you book a reserved VIP table. |

VOLUNTEER
Volunteers help bring Chef BBQ to life each year, supporting event set up and tear down, managing entrances and exits, helping with guest relations, and selling raffle tickets.
The sweetest part? Volunteers get to attend Chef BBQ for free (!) after the successful completion of their shifts. Chef BBQ volunteer shifts fill up fast, and priority consideration will be given to folks who have volunteered with Green City Market before.
