HIS Hospitality Group officially launched as a collective in January 2024, headed by Co-founder/Executive Chef Sangtae Park and Co-founder/CEO Kate Park and is driven by the mantra "Happiness Is Success." This philosophy, inspired by a friend's framed gift that is now mounted in their kitchen, underscores their commitment to creating joy for guests and staff alike through exceptional dining experiences. The collective includes three distinctive concepts—MICHELIN-starred Omakase Yume, MICHELIN-recognized TenGoku Aburiya, and most recently, Bonyeon—all located within a West Loop compound, each with its own unique space and kitchen, along with satellite concept Izakaya Yume at H Mart. Bringing the authentic flavors and traditions of Japan and Korea to Chicago, their focus is on providing guests a world-class culinary journey that emphasizes the flavors, quality, and cultural authenticity supported by a deep knowledge of time-honored culinary techniques.
