Located on the first floor of Chicago’s iconic Willis Tower, Kindling is a vibrant live-fire restaurant that reimagines American dining in the heart of the Loop. Led by James Beard Award-winning and recent 24 in 24: Last Chef Standing Season 2 champion, Chef Jonathon Sawyer, Kindling offers a globally inspired menu centered around wood-fired fare, from shareable starters and fresh seafood to grilled steaks and seasonal vegetables. Kindling boasts a 13-foot live-fire hearth in the center of the restaurant from which all menu items are cooked directly from. The expansive, multi-level space includes a lively bar, an outdoor terrace, and an open kitchen that puts the fire at the center of the experience. Whether it’s a weekday lunch, post-work cocktails, or weekend brunch, Kindling brings warmth, flavor, and flair to every gathering.
