Growing Home is a non-profit urban farm in Englewood — and the first and only USDA Certified Organic farm in Chicago! They believe that everyone deserves a good job, to eat well, and to live in a vibrant, supported community — and they use their farms to achieve this. 

For over fifteen years, Growing Home has operated a robust employment training program for Chicagoans who have faced barriers to employment so they may find pathways to sustainable careers. They also are committed to improving food security in Englewood through access to local, healthy, affordable produce and nutrition education. They know urban agriculture can be a catalyst for change — and they see it everyday.
