Chicago Farm Flowers grew out of famed event design house, Cornelia Mcnamara Flowers as a means to source environmentally sustainable and uncommon cut flowers.
Entirely outdoors, the farm is built on the site of a demolished building and parking lot in East Garfield Park. Over the years, healthy, living soil has been built up by diverting resources from landfills such as burlap coffee bags, spent mushroom substrate, eggshells, leaf mulch and wood chips.
Once described as *floral sashimi*, their hyper-local bouquets are in a class of their own, garnering a cult following among Chicago tastemakers.
