Made in Logan Square, Sidekick! provides small-batch fermented foods including dill pickles, kimchi, sauerkraut, and a variety of lacto-fermented vegetables.
Drawn to the alchemy of fermentation and joy of cooking together, co-creators, Jenny & Alex, create gut nourishing foods inspired by flavors they grew up with. Some of their pickles are also featured in their prepared food item, kimbap! A popular Korean picnic snack made with rice, seasoned vegetables and seaweed - all hand-rolled by Jenny and Alex.
