We're bringin' Chef BBQ to you! 🔥 While we can't all be in the park together this summer, we didn't want to miss out on connecting with our community of supporters and restaurant partners this year. Green City Market's Chef BBQ 2020 will take place via live stream so our community can come together while safely at home.
Join us for GCM's Chef BBQ @ Home on Thursday, July 16 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm CST — the event will be available to view for free to our entire community on live stream featuring demos from our featured chefs as well as engaging conversations with our chefs, select farmers, and GCM's Executive Director, a community call-to-action to give in support of GCM's mission, and more.
GCM's BBQ @ Home on July 16 will kick off a month of special Green City Market menu items at restaurants across the city intended to highlight local Midwest products from our farmers and drive support to our restaurant community and local farmers.
Guests and supporters of Chef BBQ 2020 like you would have raised at least $180,000 this year to support GCM’s nonprofit programs. You make it possible to host our year-round farmers markets, in-school Edible Education, match Link/SNAP-spending, and more.
We need you this year more than ever before. Chef BBQ in the park may be cancelled due to COVID-19, but Green City Market's mission is not.
