Bio
Jill works with the Community Impact Team at Wintrust, specializing in Financial Education. She helps support the 200+ Wintrust bankers who lead financial education classes in their local communities. Prior to joining Community Impact, Jill spent more than 10 years in bank management and people leadership. She realized she loved the people side more than crunching numbers, which led her to earning a master’s in Organizational Leadership from North Park University.
Jill was born and raised in a small, rural town, relishing in the community that comes with knowing everyone in town. For that reason, she continued to bask in small town vibes, choosing to study at Ripon College, majoring in Business Administration and Spanish. A semester-long study abroad program in Madrid, Spain led her to return to Spain to teach English for three years after graduation. She loved living in Madrid and realized that community can be found anywhere, even in a major metropolitan area. She has proudly called Chicago her home ‘town’ for the past 15 years, currently living on the South Side with her spouse and two children. The whole family loves visiting Green City Market, munching on apples or dried blueberries while they shop and learn from the local farmers.
